follow-thru

soooo... it was a long day at clinicals and i hope i can muster enough strength to turn the heel on my latest sock (in cherry tree hill purple/lavender/orange colorway)... perhaps some french fries will help... here is what else i'm working on... the "community afghan" from handknit holidays for my layette... i'm knitting in out of my extensive cascade 220 stash-- want to knit a square or two??? i'll send you some wool.

ok i didn't want that picture to post first thing but at least we've got color, right??? and do we have color! like it? i have more squares now but i haven't taken any new pics of knitting progress lately. i think i'm going to do 48 squares instead of the suggested 96 since it's for my future progeny and with fewer squares, there's a greater chance that i might "knit it done."

did i tell you that erica had a little boy??? i knitted him a little "umbilical cord hat" from stitch n'bitch... if erica sends me a pic, i will post it. i just wanted to get something in the mail to him before he's too big to whip something up quick.

i still have your tape measure. if you knit me some squares, i will send it with the wool...

i start spring break tomorrow! i hope i still remember how to do it!

i teach a knitting class tomorrow before i head off to ATL to frolic with old college roomies and listen to sarah harmer on saturday night... any yarn you need--- berocco, fiesta, and cascade is what they stock right now-- i have $120 in store credit!
