So this is Dana's Hat

Tell me what you think. Not about how tired I look, but what you think of the hat. I knitted a scarf for my sister Dana out of this yarn and love it. It was a basic ribbed scarf that went on forever so when she asked for a hat I decided to skip the rib. I'm not quite sure if I like this. I also have a bit of cream colored yarn that I'm thinking about adding to this hat, but how? Anyone have any ideas on how to improve this hat without "frogging it"? (Have I used that term correctly?) I keep hearing knitters say that they had to frog something and I assume that means rip it out.
