Knitting and Spinning on the Back Burner - Dawn

Two other projects are taking up my free time and I don't have much knitting or Spinning to talk about from the last several weeks. Though here a bit of knitting update. I'm sorry I don't have pictures. Our camera is dying and the pictures really no longer look like what they were taken of. I don't know when I'll be able to get another one. So here we go.
- I finished the Clapotis that I made out of the kid mohair "Primero" by Notable Yarns which I bought at SAFF. It is gorgeous. I made the thing so long that if draped over my shoulder it almost touches the ground on both ends. I love it.
- Rouge is on hold because I'm afraid I don't have enough yarn. Sooner or later I will have to find out. The back, front, and hood are finished and I'm halfway through the first sleeve. So close and I've lost momentum. It sits next to the couch caling to me all day long. I must get over my fear and just go for it. I've decided it will be my next project to pick up even though I'm tempted to pick a new project. I bought yarn for Lady Eleanor (Scarf Style) Noro - Kureyon Col. 150
- I'm currently working on a baby blanket for Dana Elizabeth Mudge (2 years old). It was supposed to be done for her birthday which is Feb 28th, but it will have to be a late B-day gift. Perhaps even a St. Patrick's Day gift. I am almost half way with it, but don't think I can swing the deadline. It is made out of two colors of Blue Sky Cotton (pale bink and cream). At first I was disappointed with the color choices because there wasn't much contract but I'm liking it now and Oh the Blue Sky is Sinfully soft stuff.

So on to my other projects.

I have been recording a book for LibriVox.
Washington Square by Henry James. Here are the chapters I've done so far.

The other project I've been doing is to work on filling in my family tree. Check it out.

Ancestry.com Family Trees

Search for Eugene Jackman (my grandfather), father Richard Jackman, mother Florence.
It is free to see this tree!
Though, you will need to register with an email address.

So I have been very busy! The next goal is to limit my projects and to stick to it.

Lindsey, How's the housing buying adventure?
